GPRS access points
This option provides access to the directory of GPRS access points
using a GPRS type connection support within the GSM network.
A GPRS access point is the name of an access gate to an external
network (for example, the Internet).
Each access point has an associated full name, user name and user
password. An alias (free name) enables you to identify and manage
your access points at your convenience.
For more details about the creation of a GPRS access point, see
page 63.
Preferred medium
This parameter serves to indicate to your Mondo the type of medium
it must use in priority to establish a WAP connection. You may select
the
Packet
(GPRS) medium, which is fast and consumes few radio
resources, or the
Circuit
(GSM) medium, which is slower and
uses more radio resources.
Ø
Tap on the option of your choice.
PLEASE NOTE:
This option is only used on profiles defined
as mixed
(C parcels)
. The
preferred medium
defined by
default is the
Parcels
(GPRS) support.
