The Model SMM-770 Scanning Magnetic Microscope System is a close spaced HTS SQUID
magnetometer system (

Figure 1-1

) that has been designed and built by Tristan to detect B

magnetic field. The main system consists of:

Liquid nitrogen dewar with HTS SQUID Sensor

Scanning stage

X-y tilt stage

Vibration Isolation table

iMAG

SQUID control electronics

, motion control hardware and software, data

acquisition hardware and software and a computer system.
