Annex G - Example power output
This chart shows the theoretical output profiles for a specific Integrel installation. In this case, a 50kW
engine with a 700 to 3200 RPM range. The true output is also dependent on electrical load, temperatures
and battery status.
When in neutral, power generation is controlled to maximise fuel efficiency across the RPM range. Once
in gear, the output curve changes to allow for the power demanded by the propeller, while still optimising
for fuel consumption.
When commissioning and testing the system, the above chart should be considered when determining
final power output.
