Annex F - Integrel system setup and commissioning
On powering-up for the first time, all sensors and controllers will run a series of tests. If anything is not
as expected, an error will display on the screen. Most errors are due to wiring issues (missing voltage
measurement cables or temperature sensors). It may not be possible to resolve all the errors until the
system setup is complete as different battery types have different connection requirements.
Once fully installed and connected, the Integrel system will need to be configured specifically for the
engine and batteries fitted. This is done through a mobile-based app (currently Android only, iPhone to
follow once Apple have qualified it as suitable for deployment).
With the system powered up, run the application, and click the ‘connect’ button to scan for the Integrel
controller and establish a link:
Once connected, you will be presented with a set of dials showing the real-time data from the first battery
bank. You can scroll between battery banks using the arrows, allowing a quick check of installed sensors.
The menu icon at the top left of the screen allows you to view engine and generator data, again you can
scroll through multiple units.
