If you need to change the battery type, find it in the list and press the ‘Set Battery Type’ button. Again, the
sensor will now update the settings as required.
Once the battery type and voltage are set, press the ‘Edit Settings’ button to change the basic parameters.
These are not critical safety values but need to be correct for optimal system performance.
The settings here consist of:
Name – this is the name of the bank as displayed on the user interface, you can select from a list of
names as required.
Index Number – this allows sensors to be assigned to specific functions, for most installations leave
this as 0 unless advised by Integrel support.
Bank Capacity – this should be set to the total amp-hour capacity of the battery bank. This needs to
be correct to allow the system to track remaining capacity.
Min SoC – this needs to be set to the minimum allowable state-of-charge for the battery bank.
Warning SoC – this is the point at which the system will start to alert the user that the batteries are
discharged and will need to be charged when possible.
Current Polarity – it is physically possible to mount the sensors either-way around on the cabling. If
the sensor reads ‘backwards’ (i.e., shows a positive charge current when discharging), toggle this
option and it will invert the readings.
Once complete, press the ‘Upload’ button to send the settings to the sensor. The cross icon at the top of
the page allows you to return to the previous screen without uploading settings.
