USB 2.0 Portable Storage

Onboard Functions
The USB 2.0 StorageÕ s onboard functions all have to do with transfer-
ring data between a Compact Flash (CF) card inserted in the CF card
slot on the USB 2.0 Storage and the internal hard disk drive (HDD) in
the USB 2.0 Storage. The USB 2.0 Storage is a self-contained, ready to
use device. The hard disk drive is preformatted and ready to use.
The USB 2.0 Storage has the following onboard features:

Quick Backup
Transfers a copy of all the data on the CF card to a directory it creates
on the internal HDD, including the directory structure on the CF card.

Backup to HD
Reads the CF card and creates an editable back up set that you can
copy to the HDD. By default it creates a directory on the HDD with the
selected files in it.

Move to HD
Transfers all the data on the CF card to a directory it creates on the
internal HDD, including the directory structure on the CF card.
¥
Restore to CF
Copies the files in a selected directory on the HDD to the CF card.
¥
Delete from CF
Deletes all files from the CF card.
¥
HDD Info
Reads and displays used and free disk space statistics.
USB 2.0 Storage Screen Icons
The USB 2.0 StorageÕ s LCD screen displays icons at the top of the
screen that function as status indicators. The panel at the top of the
screen displays the following icons in the top panel of the LCD screen
from left to right:

Menu Navigator
Indicates the Menu Navigator button is usable on that screen.

Enter
Indicates the Enter button is usable on that screen.
¥
USB
Indicates the USB 2.0 Storage is connected to a host computer via
the USB connector. Does not appear otherwise.

CF
Indicates when a CF Card is inserted in the card reader.
¥
PW
Indicates the power saving timeout setting in minutes (1, 3 or 5).
¥
Battery Indicator
Indicates the power level of the battery charge
