USB 2.0 Storage Initial Setup

When you first turn on the USB 2.0 Storage you should go through the
initial setup process and confirm the configuration settings. You access
the settings from the main LCD display screen.

To check or reconfigure the USB 2.0 Storage settings do as follows:

1. Turn on the USB 2.0 Storage by sliding the power switch to turn on

the device.

2. You will see the main USB 2.0 Storage display screen.

3. Press the right arrow on the Menu Navigation button to bring up the

menu list. Press the up arrow to access the configuration menu items.

4. There are four configuration setting menu items:

Date/Time - Sets the date and time

Required Setting: Edit to set to your local date and time

Beep – Turns the alert beep tone on and off

Default: On

Option: Off

Power saving - Sets the time limit after which power saving mode
initiates

Default: 1 minutes

Options: 1 -5 minutes or Invalid (Off)

Contrast - Adjusts the contrast on the LCD display screen

Optional Setting: Adjust to suit your preference

To open a setting menu, select the item and then press the Enter
button.

To exit a menu press the left arrow on the Menu Navigation button.

When you open the menu list, press the up arrow to start displaying
configuration menu items. First youÕ ll see the Date/Time. Press again
to see the other items.

Slide to turn On & Off

After you set the date and time and have checked or changed the con-
figuration settings to suit your requirements, the USB 2.0 Storage is
ready to use.
