25. SOURCE

Sync source voltage selector switch for three functions,

INT (internal sync), LINE  ( 5 0 / 6 0 Hz sync) and  E X T (exter-

nal sync).

INT:  S w e e p is triggered by vertical input signal.

LINE:  S w e e p is triggered by  5 0 / 6 0 Hz power fre-

quency.

E X T :  S w e e p is triggered by voltage applied to

E X T  T R I G terminal and  D C component.

26. SLOPE

S y n c polarity selector  s w i t c h . In the " + " position,

s w e e p is triggered with rising slope of input  w a v e f o r m ,

and in  t h e " — " position, with falling slope of input

w a v e f o r m .

27. LEVEL, PULL AUTO

Triggering level control adjusts  s y n c phase to deter-

mine the starting point of  s w e e p on the slope of trigger

signal  w a v e f o r m .  B y pulling the knob toward  y o u , auto

s w e e p is effected; the  s w e e p is set in free-run state

and the trace is displayed on  C R T even when no trigger

signal is present.  W h e n trigger signal is present,  s w e e p

is started so the triggering level can be adjusted.

28. TRIG'D

S y n c indication lamp lights  w h e n  s y n c signal is trig-

gered. Check this lamp lights  w h e n writing input singal

to memory.

T h e lamp may light in the GND position of the  A C -

G N D - D C  ( 1 3 ) .  T h i s is normal and is not an indication

that the unit is defective.

29. EXT TRIG

Input terminal for external trigger signal. External trig-

ger signal (1 Vp-p or higher) should be applied with

S O U R C E  s w i t c h set to  E X T .

30. HOR INPUT

Input terminal for external horizontal signal.  D I S P L A Y

MODE  s w i t c h should be set to  X - Y .

3 1 . DISPLAY TIME

Store and read-out operation are automatically

repeated  w h e n this knob is pulled out (free run

fuction).  T h e display time is about 1 second  w h e n the

knob is fully set to the left and about  2 0 seconds  w h e n

it is fully set to the right.  T h i s function is effective only

w h e n the  D I S P L A Y mode is  R E A L .

32. PEN SPEED

Selects the memory read speed in the PEN mode from

among three speeds: 10 to  5 0 ms/word. This switch

functions regardless of the position of  S W E E P TIME/DIV

( 2 1 ) .
