2007-37 Prestige Wall Frame Instructions
Wall Frame Mounting Guidelines
1. The wall frame is designed for stud spacing of
12” or 16” on centers. The wall mounting
brackets on the frame are adjustable to accom-
modate most unconventional stud spacing.
2. For applications using wood studs, install the
wall frame using the lag screws provided with
the boiler. Ensure all 4 lag screws are utilized
and are installed securely in the studs.
3. For applications using metal studs, install the
wall frame to the studs using 3/16” toggle bolts
and washers.
4. DO NOT mount or attempt to mount the wall
frame to hollow sheet rock or lath walls using
anchors. Only install the wall frame to studs or
equivalent wood structure.
Wall Frame Mounting
1. Locate the wall studs in the general boiler loca-
tion.
2. Position the Wall Frame Assembly against the
wall. Level the assembly and mark the wall
where the slots of the Wall Mounting Brackets
align with the wall studs.
3. Remove the Wall Frame Assembly from the
wall. For applications using wood studs, drill
1/4” diameter by 3” deep holes at the center of
each mark. For applications using metal studs
and 3/16” toggle bolts, drill the required size
holes.
4. Reposition the Wall Frame Assembly onto the
wall and align the mounting bracket slots with
the wall holes. Secure the Wall Frame
Assembly to the wall using the lag bolts provid-
ed with the boiler for wood studs or toggle bolts
for metal studs.
5. Locate the boiler mounting bracket supplied
with the boiler. Level and center the boiler
mounting bracket on the Wall Frame Assembly
and install using the bolts provided in this kit.
Ensure that the upper edge of the bracket is
away from the Wall Frame Assembly.
Boiler Mounting
1. Ensure that all Wall Frame Assembly bolts are
tight and that the Assembly is firmly attached to
the wall before mounting the boiler.
Use extreme care not to drop the boiler or
cause bodily injury while lifting or mounting
the boiler. Once mounted, verify that the
boiler is securely attached to the bracket.
Failure to comply with the above guidelines
could result in property damage, personal
injury or death.
2. The boiler is too heavy and bulky for a single
person to lift and mount; a minimum of 2 peo-
ple are required for mounting the boiler.
3. Install the boiler making sure the boiler mount-
ing lip located along the upper edge of the rear
jacket engages the boiler mounting bracket.
Ensure the boiler is seated properly and is
secure.
