AUX-IN INPUT
1. Connect any type of appliance featuring an audio output to the Audio input (5) using an RCA plug cable or to the Audio input (9) using a 3.5 mm
jack plug cable.
2. Switch the appliance on and press the input selection key (12) on the appliance or the INPUT key (28) on the remote control until the AUX icon
(4) is displayed.
3. Control the external unit with its controls.
4. If both inputs are active, the 3.5 mm jack input (5) automatically deactivates the RCA input (1).
TREBLE / BASS CONTROL AND EQUALISATIONS
It is possible to adjust bass and treble in the tracks you play:
1. Treble: press the (6) or TREBLE- (7) keys to adjust the treble (range from -14 to +14, 0 is the preset value)
2. Bass: press the BASS+ (8) or BASS- (9) keys to adjust the bass (range from -14 to +14, 0 is the preset value)
Four different kinds of sound equalisation are also available for the playback:
1. Press the EQ key (17) several times to select the 4 preset equalisations in sequence.
By pressing the RESET key (14) the set tones are reset to the initial value (0, default value).
CLOCK ALARM AND SLEEP FUNCTION SETTING
This appliance enables setting two different clock alarms. To activate them, proceed as follows:
1. Press the ALARM1 (11) or ALARM2 (12) key according to the clock alarm you want to set (1 or 2). The first pair of digits (hour) on the time
display (12) will start blinking.
2. Select the desired hour with keys
(26) and
(27) and then press the ALARM1 (11) or ALARM2 (12) key again. The second pair of digits
(minutes) will start blinking.
3. Select the minutes with keys
(26) and
(27) and then press the ALARM1 (11) or ALARM2 (12) key again.
4. Set the type of tone using keys
(26) and
(27). If nothing is displayed, a 'beep' tone and the radio are used as alarm tone. If the 'tune' icon
(2) blinks, the radio is used as alarm tone (the last tuned radio station is used).
5. Once both clock alarms are set, use the ALARM key (31) to activate them. If pressed once, the clock alarm 1 is activated (the CLOCK ALARM
1 ACTIVATION icon (1) is displayed), if pressed again, the clock alarm 2 is activated (the CLOCK ALARM 2 ACTIVATION icon (10) is displayed). If
pressed for the third time, both clock alarms are activated (both icons (1) and (10) are displayed). If the key is pressed again for the fourth time,
both clock alarms are deactivated (no clock alarm activation icon is displayed).
6. When the ring tone is activated, its volume will gradually turn up until the maximum volume is reached.
The ring tone can be deactivated with the ON/OFF key on the unit (11) or on the remote control (1). After deactivating the ring tone the appliance
will normally operate as a radio. Press the ON/OFF key on the unit (11) or on the remote control (1) again to switch to standby mode.
Press the SNOOZE key (13) on the unit or the DIMMER key (3) on the remote control to delay the ring tone by 10 minutes.
The SLEEP function allows programming the automatic switch-off of the appliance after a certain time:
1. Press the SLEEPSET key (25), a number will start blinking on the display. Use keys
(26) and
(27) to set the minutes after which the
appliance automatically switches off. The switch off time can be set from 10 to 90 minutes, with an interval of 10 minutes between each step.
Press the SLEEPSET key (25) again to activate the sleep function (the active SLEEP function icon (11) is displayed).
