Gas or Pellet Stove Receiver Placement
Place the receiver, with holder, on the back of the heater and route the receiver wires to a location near
the on/off switch (see the illustration below).
Connect the receiver power cord to a 110 VAC outlet.
NOTE
: On newer gas stoves you may use the power cord adapter to connect the power cord directly to
the insert. See “Power Cord Adapter Installation” for details.
Place the receiver into the holder
with the wires exiting the rear.
Stoves with the on/off switch in front:
Make sure the wires do not contact the burner pan
or moving parts (use lock ties of necessary).
Gas or Pellet Fireplace Insert Receiver Placement
Place the receiver behind the surround panel on the fireplace floor (see the illustration to the right).
Route the receiver wires to a location near the on/off switch.
Connect the receiver power cord to a 110 VAC outlet.
NOTE
: On
the 31 and 33 DVI
you may use the power cord adapter to connect the power cord directly to
the insert. See “Power Cord Adapter Installation” for details.
Place the receiver on the right side
floor of the firebox, as far away from
the insert as possible (minimum 1"
clearance to side of insert).
