Assembling your TravelScoot
Each TravelScoot has been test-driven before shipment. The wheels may show signs of that brief test drive.
Setting up your TravelScoot initially may require a little ti
me. Be patient. With practice, you’ll be able to do it in no time at all. For a

Attaching the Front Wheel
Unfolding your TravelScoot
To unfold your TravelScoot, ensure the rear wheels are resting on the ground. If the rear wheels are not fully supported on the
ground, the locking pins will be difficult to push in.
a.
Reach underneath the steering column and compress one of the two locking pins.
b.
Partially unfold the trailing arm.
c.
Repeat this step for the other trailing arm.
d.
Lift the steering column
upwards until both trailing arms lock into place with an audible “click”.
e.
Make sure that both trailing arms are locked in place (this is an important safety check).
Handlebar Assembly and Height Adjustment
a.
Insert the hand grips into the T-handle atop the steering column. Make sure the spring-loaded buttons lock into the
corresponding holes. NOTE: The handgrips are not separable on the Shopper model.
b.
With the scooter unfolded and on its wheels, locate the steering column clamp. Loosen it and adjust the handlebar
height to your liking, and lock in place.
c.
Ensure that the On/Off Switch, mounted on the left side of the handlebars, is in the “
OFF
” position.
Attach the front wheel to the main frame of the TravelScoot by inserting it into the steering
column. Make sure that the spring-loaded button locks into the corresponding hole. If you
are met with resistance, raise the handlebars slightly and try again.
Note: The front wheel is permanently attached on the Shopper model.
