5.3 Audio Setup Page
Inside the Audio setup menu you will find the following sub-menus:
Speaker Setup
Downmix: default setting – Stereo (2 CH)
Front Speaker: default setting - Large
Center Speaker: default setting – small
Rear Speaker: default setting - small
Subwoofer: default setting - On
SPDIF Setup
SPDIF Off
SPDIF / RAW
SPDIF / PCM
DownMix
LT/RT: select this option when the DVD player is connection to external amplifier with Pro-Logic
decoding function.
Stereo: select this option when using only 2CH the front-left and front-right speakers with normal
stereo sound effect.
Off: Default setting, to output decoded 5.1CH surround sound.
SPDIF Setup
SPDIF Off: switch off the coaxial and optical output.
SODIF /RAW: select this option when using coaxial or optical connection with an
amplifier with
built-in Dolby/DTS decoder.
SODIF /PCM: select this option when connect to a 2 CH audio amplifier, a multi-channel sound will
be mixed to recode a two-channel sound.
5.4 Dolby Digital Setup
Inside the Dolby Digital Setup menu you will find the following sub-menus:
Dual Mono
Used to change the audio output channel
Stereo: output left channel and right channel audio.
L-Mono: output left channel only to 2 front channels.
R-Mono: output right channel only to 2 front channels.
Mix-Mono: output the average signal of the mixed left channel and right
channel audio to 2 front channels.
Dynamic
Setup the Dynamic compression ration. Default setting: FULL.
