Reset Configuration Data
Normally, you leave this field “Disabled”. Select “Enabled” to reset Extended System
Configuration Data (ESCD) if you have just installed a new add-on card and the system
reconfiguration has caused such a serious conflict that the operating system cannot
boot. The setting will automatically be set back to “Disabled” the next time the system
reboots.

Resources Controlled by
The Award Plug-and-Play BIOS can automatically configure all the boot and Plug-and-
Play (PnP) compatible devices. If you select “Auto”, all of the Interrupt Requests (IRQs)
and DMA assignment fields will be activated as the BIOS automatically assigns them.
The choices are: “Auto” and “Manual”.
