TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM: CAUSE: TROUBLESHOOTING:
Pilot flame does not
light
Cylinder valve is closed Open valve
Blockage in opening or
Ignition hose Clean or replace opening or
ignition hose
Air in the gas hose
Open the gas supply and vent it
(press the rotary knob in) for a
maximum of 1-2 minutes or until
you smell gas.
Low gas pressure Gas cylinder is empty or almost
empty.
Ignition does not work
Light the pilot flame with a match,
insert a new ignition.
Pilot flame does not
stay on
Accumulations of dirt around
the
Pilot light
Remove dirt from the pilot light
The connection between the
gas valve and pilot light is
loose Tighten the connection and
do a leak test
Defective thermocouple Replace thermocouple
Burner does not
burn
Gas pressure is too low Replace the gas cylinder
Blockage in the opening Remove blockage
Control knob is not in the
„ON“ postion
Turn the control knob tot he „ON“
postion
Burner flame is
small Note:
Gas pressure is too low Replace the gas cylinder
Outside temperature is over
5°C (40°F) and tank is less
than 25% full Replace the gas cylinder
