GAS TIGHTNESS TEST
Do not use open flames in the leakage test.
Do not smoke in the leakage test.
The gas connections of this device are checked for leaks in the factory before
shipping.
The tightness of this device must be checked
regularly. If there is a smell of gas, the device
must be checked immediately.

The gas cylinder valve should be in the OFF
position for the leak test. When the soap
solution has been applied to the gas connections, the gas cylinder valve must
be set to the ON position.
If gas escapes, soap bubbles form in the soap solution.
In the event of a leak, turn off the gas. Tighten any leaky connections, turn the
gas back on and recheck for leaks.
