Azimuth Motor and Belt

4. Install the new azimuth motor with the belt positioned

around the outer lip of the motor hub (see Figure 5-17).
Reinstall the screws and locking nuts that you removed in
Step 3, but do not tighten them yet.

5. Slide the motor until the belt is tight around the motor

hub and azimuth pulley. Then tighten the screws and
locking nuts. 

Some readjustment may be necessary if the belt

tension results in excessive vibration.

6. Reinstall the shield that you removed in Step 2.

7. Reconnect the motor cable that you removed in Step 1.
