Endless straps can be used for continuous rotation, on their whole length.
Those with connection buckle (usually used when access to the ends of the load is difficult) must be
particularly monitored when used.
The connection buckle must never go inside the pulley.
The connection buckle and the recovering area (sewing) must never be under the load.
When turning over a load by 360°, the length of the straps should allow for the rotation of the load according
to the desired angle without the connection buckle and the covering area (sewing) going inside the pulleys or
being under the load.
Furthermore, the connection buckle of each strap should be positioned in essentially the same way so as not
to have the rotation of the load limited in keeping with the above comments.
Positioning straps onto the pulleys
▪
Keyed tube pulleys (PalTurn™ 1t & more)
Position the pulley
with the two parallel
rollers (4) downwards.
Remove the 2 pins (1) so as to be
able to slide the bolts (2) and
remove the strap rollers (3).
The strap (5) can be fitted into the
pulley. (
Important
: when using
straps which are coated on one
side, ensure that the coated side is
in contact with the pulley)
Once this operation is
complete, just refit the
components and
fasten them by
performing the
previous operations in
reverse order.
It is important to
position the strap (5)
correctly in the pulley
casing so that it is
held between the
pulley tube (6) and
the pulley roller (3).
Remark: it is not
necessary to
remove the
parallel rollers (4)
to fit straps.
▪
Keyless tube pulleys (PalTurn™ standard 500 kg)
Position the pulley with
the guide rollers
downwards.
Remove the pins.
Remove the movable
flange
Inserting the strap
Perform the operations
in reverse order to close
the pulley
