condition.

repair centeris necessary in case of malfunction during
any of the following tests:
Position the clamp on a working surface. Operate the clamp opening handle without
bringing it at full stroke then release. The clamp should close freely. Check that the
chain is not twisted between its anchorage point and the chain guide.
Operate the clamp opening handle downwards at full stroke, until it locks in the open
position be triggered. The clamp remains in an open position. Then take the clamp
holding it by its body, and bring it home into a plate. The clamp must close
automatically when the plate enters in contact with the back of the throat.
NXR clamp:
check that the cam shaft is in good condition and that the adjustment is correctly made in all
positions. The opening of the NXR models is adjustable by means of a pin in increments of 20 mm.
STRUCTURE CONDITION
Pads wear: the polyurethane coating must have a good adherence on the load.
Visual and tactile inspection: the polyurethane coating must be smooth, clean, soft and adhere when touched.

Find on clamp: serial number, type and manufacturing year.
Clamps over 10 years old must be replaced.

Deformation: the clamp structure must not be deformed.
Visual inspection. The clamp must be replaced, especially when any of
the following condition is not respected:
1. NX05-0-20, NX1.5-0-30 and NXR05-0-100 models: clamp closed, the pads
must be in contact with one another (adjust NXR clamp on the first position
before checking operation).
2. No chain link deformed or damaged.
