5.4. STANDARD ADDITION ANALYSES OVERVIEW
Preforming a Standard Addition method analysis consists of Plating running Analysis
and obtaining a result. The following main steps will assist you in understanding how
to perform a Standard Addition based test.
Wipe & polish WE

Pour appropriate Plating Solution into the SAB & attach sonde
Run M
x
Conditioning on the Metalyser
®
Return M
x
Conditioning Solution to the bottle
Tip HM
x
Buffer into the SAB
Add sample water to SAB
Select appropriate test method
Run Condition Electrode on the Metalyser
®
Run M
x
Standard Addition on the Metalyser
®
Add Standard to SAB when prompted
Continue Standard Addition run on Metalyser
®
Save / discard / download results
Remove SAB. Rinse electrodes & sonde head
