Enable
: Check the box to enable this function.
Destination:
Enter the IP network address of the final destination. It can be a subnet IP or a
host address. All zeros indicate that the route entry should be used for all destinations for
which no other route is defined.
Subnet Mask:
Enter the subnet mask of the destination.
Next Hop:
The IP address of the next hop through which traffic will forward the destination.
Interface:
Select the interface to which a static route is to be applied.
Click the
Add Route
button to add the new route in the Static Route Table.
The
Static Route Table
shows the current static route entries.
Note:
After adding a new entry, a
Save
button will appear on the left panel. You need to click the
Save
button to make your changes take effect.
4.3.1.2 RIP
Choose “
Advanced→Route→RIP
” menu, you can configure the RIP settings in the next screen
(shown in Figure 4-26). RIP is an internet protocol you can setup to share routing table information
with other routing devices.
