Route the Crossover harness through the
glove box area, then secure it to the vehicle
harness with three wire ties. (Fig. 4-8)
(i)
Continue to route the crossover harness down
to the passenger side connector block.
Secure the harness with two wire ties.
(Fig. 4-9)
(j)
Locate and remove the 20 pin connector in
Passenger’s side cowl area. pin # 18 (Blue
wire). (Fig. 4-10)

For vehicles with the factory alarm, the
connector will be located on a Y-adapter
harness near the connector block.
(k)
Install a T-Tap to the blue wire (pin #18) on
the 20 pin connector, about 1 inch from the
connector end. (Fig. 4-10)

Using pliers, make sure that T-Tap is
snapped in correctly.
(l)
Connect the black wire from the cross over
harness to the T-Tap installed on the blue
wire and reconnect the connector.
