A popup message displays while connection to the server is attempted.
Refreshing Display Message Screen
If the operation is successful, a preview screen displays the current feed from the selected
connector type on the venue’s TV.
Should none of your selections result in a visible output on the TV screen, check for the
following:
• Ensure that your cables are properly connected.
• Ensure that the source (your cable box or similar device) is powered.
• Ensure that the scaling unit is powered. If you have recently recovered from a power
failure, you may have to power off the unit for a few moments.
If your display is “out of range” the default resolution may be too high. Proceed to the
previous step in the wizard, set the resolution to 480p, and try the input selection step
again.
• Once you have made your selection, press
Next
to continue.
The PC Input Calibration Screen displays.
PC Input Calibration
This step allows you to calibrate the input source in such a way that the image feed will be
scaled at the optimal size. In the top left and the bottom right corner of the reference image,
the edges have been outlined with two colored lines. By precisely identifying the position
in-between the yellow and the red line, the wizard is able to calculate the actual display
area.
The yellow line identifies the outermost border of our reference image. The red line
identifies a smaller border inside the image.
By scaling the input in such a way that only the red line is visible, you are allowing the
software to calculate the precise area where the image should be placed.
