Experiment by moving in different directions and at different
speeds. See how quickly you can point to a particular spot on
the screen.
The two buttons in front of the keyboard are the Accupoint
buttons. Clicking them tells Windows 95 to choose, select or
use various objects on the desktop. The larger button is the
primary button. The smaller button is the secondary button.
Throughout this manual, the term “click” refers to clicking the
primary button. Instructions requiring the secondary button
specifically mention that button. For example, “click the sec-
ondary button.”
Now that you are familiar with the AccuPoint, continue to read the
next lesson. You will learn about the objects on the desktop and
their uses.
Lesson 2: Exploring the Desktop
The desktop is the launching pad for everything you can do in
Windows 95. You use its features to start programs, find docu-
ments, set up system components and most other computing tasks.
