Create Dial 0 Destination
The Default Access Code for the Attendant Console Group is 0. To change this code select
System > Flex Access Code
(Program 102), then enter data for the FB listed below:

00 – In Network eManager, click the Create button to assign Attendant Console Group
DN. In the pop-up window, enter a new Index value, click OK. Most sites will use 0;
however; any non-conflicting DN can be used.
...or for telephone programming, at the “Digit=” prompt, enter 0 (or any DN that does not
conflict with a station DN). At the “FB0=” prompt, enter
750.
Note
The number entered here (usually 0), is the number users dial to reach an Attendant.
Important!
Do not assign a BDKU\BDKS or BWDKU port as DN = 0.
Direct CO Lines to Ring CIX Attendant Console
Refer to the
Strata CIX Programming Manual Vol. 1
for details. The Attendant dialing digit is “0”
or the value assigned to the Attendant Console Group in Flexible Access Codes (Program 102).
Important!
•
If a DKT telephone is connected to the CIX Attendant Console PC, use the keyboard for all PC
operations when the console is running.
•
When the Attendant Console software is not running, the DKT3x01 telephone can be used for
regular calling. Calls intended for an Attendant when the software is not running will follow the
Alternate Destination programmed in Strata CIX. Only calls directed to the DKT’s primary
extension number will ring the phone.

Also, if the handset interferes with the headset, you can unplug the handset while using the
headset.
Run the CIX Attendant Console
1.
Double-click on the “Strata CIX Attendant Console” desktop icon
...or click Start > Programs > Strata CIX Attendant > Strata CIX Attendant Console (see
below). The application should start in a few seconds.
