•
Parameters 19 and 30 can be changed within the CIX Attendant Console application (see
Administration view, Admin tab in the console). These two settings can be changed in CIX
programming or from the CIX Attendant Console. The console has precedence; the console
overrides programming data.
•
Although 28 is labeled “Attd Overflow Dest.,” you should enter the overflow destination from
Station > Attendant Group (Program 404).
Important!
No other telephones in the system should have the Console’s PDN as a line appear-
ance button.
Make Attendant Group Assignments on CIX
Select
Station > Attendant Group
(Program 404), then enter data for the FBs listed below:

00 – Enter

to assign an Attendant Group number (required) Only Group 1 is available.

01 – Select the Call Distribution method: Most Idle First (required) - Consoles will receive
calls in rotation.

02 – Enter an alternative Attendant Destination for Position Busy, if desired - (1~32
characters).
p
03 – Select the Attendant Overflow Time in seconds (default is OK).
p
04 – Enter an Overflow Destination for the Attendant group (1~32 characters) (preferred).
This overflow destination for a single Attendant or when all multiple Attendants set
overflow on.

05 – Enter the Attendant’s Voice Mail ID code.
