Connecting Components

Adding a SCSI hard disk drive

Set the SCSI-ID for the hard disk drive. For instructions, see
“Jumper settings for SCSI HDDs” on page 45.

Position the rails on the SCSI hard disk drive and secure them
with four screws.

Remove the screws securing the 5.25-inch shield cover and
store the cover in a safe place.

Removing the shield

Insert the SCSI HDD into the slot and secure it with two
screws.

Inserting the SCSI hard disk drive

Connect the power and SCSI cable to the SCSI HDD.
