Is the software an authorized copy?

An unauthorized software copy may not function. Refer to the
manual for the software.

❖

If the software runs from a diskette or CD-ROM, does it run
properly on another system?

❖

If the software runs from the hard disk drive, check that the
software is properly installed. Are all the required procedures
implemented and all the necessary files present?

❖

Is the correct device controller installed?

❖

Is the software correctly set up?

❖

Is the software being used correctly?

If you are unable to resolve the problem, contact the software
manufacturer technical support.

Common problems

This section lists some common problems and their solutions. If
you are unable to resolve the problem, contact your authorized

Power indicator does not light

Is the server plugged into a live 115/230V AC outlet?

❖

Is the voltage selection switch set to the correct voltage setting
for your location (115V/230V AC)?

❖

Does the AC outlet work properly? To check, plug in another
appliance, such as a lamp.

Is the server operating normally? If so, the Power light circuit is
defective.
