4 Replacement Procedures

Installing the Optical drive

To install the optical drive, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-6 and 4-7.

Set the

mounting

plate

and secure it with the following

screw

•

3B BIND

screw

Set the

pushing plate

and secure it with the following

screws

•

S-THIN HEAD screw

Insert the

optical drive

firmly into the computer to connect it to the connector on the

system board.

Secure the

optical drive

with the following

screws.

•

M2.5

4B FLAT HEAD screw

•

M2.5

16B FLAT HEAD screw

CAUTION: When inserting the slim select bay module, turn the computer face up and

insert it while slightly pressing it down.
