Description of Control Panel 27

External Keyboard (optional)

1. Flip Panel (

P.27 “Flip Panel”)

2. [RESOLUTION] button

Use this key to change the scanning resolution.

3. [SPEED DIAL] button

Use to accessing Abbreviated, Alphabet, or Group dialing telephone directories.

4. [REDIAL/PAUSE] button

Use this button:

- To redial the last remote Fax number with on-hook dialing.
- To redial a remote Fax number manually before the redialing is automatically started.
- To enter a pause (three-second pause) when a remote Fax is dialed directly.

5. [MONITOR] button

Used to enable the speaker monitor, for monitoring call progress during non-memory trans-
mission.

Flip Panel

One Touch keys 1 to 75

Use a key between 1 and 75 as a one touch key to specify a destination when sending a Fax
document. (

P.48 “One Touch Key Dialing”)

If the template function is enabled, use a key between 66 and 75 to recall a template.

To utilize the template function, both the Network Printer Kit (optional) and Scanner Upgrade Kit
(optional) are required.
