INTRODUCTION
To connect video and audio equipment with component video terminals
When connecting video equipment to the TV:
•
For good picture quality, use a standard yellow video
cable.
•
For better picture quality, if your equipment has an S-video
output, use an S-video cable instead of a standard yellow
video cable. (You still must connect the standard red and
white audio cables for full system connection, but do not
connect the yellow video cable at the same time, or the
picture performance will be unacceptable.)
•
For best picture quality, if your equipment has component
video outputs, use component video cables instead of a
standard video or S-video cable. You must connect the
standard red and white audio cables for full system
connection.

COMPONENT VIDEO

Video input source
To select the video input source
Press
on the remote control or TV repeatedly to view a
signal coming from another device connected to your TV,
such as a VCR or video camera.
Notice item for when a DVD player is connected

terminal, the VIDEO2 display
changes to DVD.
