TUNING THE TELEVISION
Tuning the television
Before switching on the television put your
decoder and media recorder to
Standby
if they
are connected.
To set up the television use the buttons on the
remote control as detailed on page 5.
Initial Setup
Connect the television to the main power
and press the button. The
Initial Setup
screen will appear at the first use.
Press
to start the initial setup.

If you skip this step, the channel scan can
be performed in the TV Menu.
If the television cannot be connected to a media
recorder/decoder with a SCART lead or if a
station on another
system
is required, use
Manual Scan
to allocate a programme position,
see page 19.
NOTE:
The time will be set automatically using
the broadcaster data but can be advanced or
decreased by up to 12 hours using Time Zone in
Timer
. (See page 29)
PLEASE NOTE
The
Factory Default
menu can also be accessed
at any time in the Parental from the FUNCTION menu.
