4.
Set the parking brake, move power take off (PTO) to
off and hold the motion control levers in neutral. Now
start the engine. While the engine is running, move the
motion control levers forward or reverse; the engine
should stop.
5.
Tilt the hopper up, set the parking brake, move power
take off (PTO) to off and hold the motion control
levers in neutral. Now start the engine. While the
engine is running, move the motion control levers
forward or reverse; the engine should stop.
Driving Forward or Backward
The throttle control regulates the engine speed as
measured in rpm (revolutions per minute). Place the
throttle control in the fast position for best attachment
performance. Always operate in the full throttle position
when operating.
Driving Forward
1.
Release the parking brake; refer to Setting the Parking
Brake, page 16.
2.
To go forward, slowly push the motion control levers
forward (Fig. 14).
Note:
Engine will stop if motion control levers are moved
with parking brake engaged.
To go straight, move both motion control levers the same
distance (Fig. 14).
To turn move the motion control lever toward neutral, on
the side you want to turn toward (Fig. 14).
The farther you move the motion control levers in either
direction, the faster the machine will move in that
direction.
To slow or stop move the motion control levers to neutral.

Driving Backward
1.
Release the parking brake; refer to Setting the Parking
Brake, page 16.
2.
To go backward, slowly pull the motion control levers
rearward (Fig. 14).
To go straight, move both motion control levers the same
distance (Fig. 14).
To turn move the motion control lever toward neutral, on
the side you want to turn toward (Fig. 14).
To slow or stop move the motion control levers to neutral.
Stopping the Machine
To stop the machine, move the motion control levers to
neutral, disengage the power take off (PTO), turn the
ignition to off, and remove the key. Also set the parking
brake when you leave the machine; refer to Setting the
Parking Brake, page 16.
Children or bystanders may be injured if they
move or attempt to operate the tractor while it is
unattended.
Always remove the ignition key and set the
parking brake when leaving the machine
unattended, even if just for a few minutes.
