motion-control rod at the upper and lower ball

6. Adjust the motion-control rod as follows:
•
To increase the gap between the speed
bar and motion control lever, rotate the
motion-control rod counterclockwise.
•
To decrease the gap between the speed
bar and motion control lever, rotate the
motion-control rod clockwise.
7. Tighten the jam nuts ( Figure 97 ).
8. Repeat steps 3 through 7 for the other motion
control lever.
9. Install the knee pad; refer to Installing the Knee
Pad (page 52) .
