Preparing for Maintenance
1. Park the machine on a level surface.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Press the cutting unit drive switch to the
D
ISENGAGE
position ( Figure 49 ).

Removing the Battery
Cover
Remove the 2 knobs that secure the battery cover to
the machine, and remove the cover (
Figure 48 ).
