WARNING

If the engine has been running, the radiator
pressurizes and the coolant inside is hot. If
you remove the cap, coolant may spray out,
causing severe burns.

Do not remove the expansion-tank cap to
check coolant levels.

Do not remove the expansion-tank cap
when the engine is hot. Allow the engine
to cool for at least 15 minutes or until
the radiator cap is cool enough to touch
without burning your hand.

When the engine is cold, the coolant level should be
no higher than the F

) mark on the side of

the expansion tank (

). When the engine is

warm, the coolant level should be no higher than the

If the coolant is above the F
