General Information
Hydraulic System Fluid
The Greens Aerator hydraulic system is designed to op-
erate on SAE 10W–30 engine oil or, as a substitute, SAE
10W–40 engine oil. Check level of hydraulic fluid dai-
ly.
See Operator’s Manual for fluid level checking proce-
dure.

Relieving Hydraulic System Pressure
Before disconnecting or performing any work on the hy-
draulic system, all pressure in the hydraulic system
must be relieved. With the coring head fully raised, turn
key switch to OFF and allow engine to stop. Raise coring
head lock–up brackets on each side of machine and
lower coring head until coring head depth adjustment
screws rest on brackets (Fig. 2). Move lift lever to both
raise and lower to make sure that hydraulic system pres-
sure is relieved.
