Installing the Auxiliary Handle
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Auxiliary handle assembly
Procedure
1. Separate the auxiliary handle from the lower handle bracket by unscrewing the handle-lock knob and
removing the socket head bolt (A of
Figure 3 ).
Important:
The bolt may be wedged into the plastic of the handle; lightly tap the bottom of the
bolt until it is free from the handle.
2. Align the auxiliary handle with the lower handle bracket on the trimmer handle (B of Figure 3 ).
3. Slide the lower handle bracket into the slot on the auxiliary handle (B of Figure 3 ).
4. Secure the auxiliary handle to the lower handle bracket with the socket head bolt previously removed
(C of
Figure 3 ).
