4. Secure the right hand and left hand headlight assemblies
to the headlight brackets (
Figure 6 ) with the fasteners
supplied with the lights. Make sure the turn signal lens
on the headlight is positioned toward the outside of
the machine.
5. Route the headlight wiring harness ends underneath
the front edge of the operator's platform, thru the
headlight brackets and to the headlights (
Figure 3 ).
6. Plug one of the harness connectors into the previously
unplugged harness connector and one into the
headlight. The headlight connection should be made
inside the headlight bracket. Repeat this procedure on
the other headlight.
7. Using the hole in each headlight bracket, secure the
harness, to the bracket with a cable tie as shown in
Figure 7 .
8. Mount the headlight wiring cover to the headlight
bracket with plastic plugs.
9. Install the steering tower cover with the screws
previously removed.
For traction units equipped with a cab
1. Unplug the wiring harness connector from each
existing headlight.
2. Remove the fasteners securing the headlights to
brackets on the front of the cab (
Figure 8 ).

3. Loosely install the left hand headlight bracket to the
top of the left hand cab bracket with a 1/2 x 1-1/4 inch
flange head bolt and 1/2 inch flange nut. Position the
bracket as shown in
Figure 9 .
