Piston and Rings Assembly Removal (continued)

Figure 189

3. Remove the fuel tank vent hose from the hose retainer on the engine shroud.

Move the carbon canister to the side of the engine.

Figure 190

4. Remove the shroud by lifting away from the engine.

5. Push down on the 2 air filter cover latch tabs.

6. Hinge the air filter cover downward. Remove the cover from the air filter

housing assembly.

7. Remove the air filter from the air filter housing.

8. Remove the 2 (10 mm) nuts securing the air filter housing to the engine.
