2 PREPARATIONS BEFORE USE

When using an external power source

Connect the clips of the external power source cable (PC-21) to the terminals of the external power
source (12V, commercially available).

Connect the external power source cable (PC-21) to the battery connector.

Use one of the following methods to connect the instrument to the PC.

Connection via Wireless LAN cards

The network setting is required to connect this instrument to a PC or an access point using a wireless
LAN card.

There are two methods for connection with wireless LAN.
AdHoc mode

: Mode for direct transmission between the instrument and a PC

Infrastructure mode: Mode for connection to network via an access point

Connecting with AdHoc mode

Move to the network setting screen.
Refer to Chapter 5.2.2 “Network Settings (To connect to PC or access point)”
