3-8 Replacement of the PCB for the near-point illumination LED

Operation status

Operation procedure

1. Remove the near-point rod and near-point chart.

2. Remove the hidden screws and four screws of the

cover at the patient side, using the Phillips

screwdriver. Then, remove the cover.

3. Remove the two screws from inside.

4. Remove the parts at the inspector side. Remove

the hexagonal screw of the forehead rest knob from

the side, using a hexagonal wrench (for 6SU3).

5. Remove the connector. Remove the old PCB,

using the precision Phillips screwdriver.
