Function Summary
The WAN interface of MB7900 is used to connect Internet and
wireless WAN. This
configuration page is used to set some basic parameters of the wireless WAN card.
Detailed Configurations
If
Enable this Interface
is not checked, no other parameters in this page are available.
z
NAT:
The client devices will NOT be able to access the Internet through this interface
once the
NAT
option on it is set to disabled.
z
Connect mode:
Indicate which wireless WAN connection policy is used.
Auto:
This option enable MB7900 to automatically make the internet connection
each time when it powers on. It keeps MB7900 always connected to the
Internet, even when the connection is idle. To select this option, click the radio
button next to Keep Alive. The default Redial Period is 120 seconds (In other
words, the Device will check the Internet connection every 120 seconds).
Dial-On-Demand:
When Connect mode is set to Dial-On-Demand, MB7900 will
disable Keepalive automatically.
