Dial-On-Demand
MB7900 can be configured to disconnect from Internet connection after a specified
period of inactivity (Max Idle Time). If the Internet connection has been terminated
due to inactivity, Dial on Demand enables MB7900 to automatically re-establish the
Internet connection as soon as you attempt to access the Internet again. Enter a
number in seconds you want your internet connection to last when there is no data
transmission.
Note:
MB7900 can connect the 3G modem automatically when receiving a
PPP connection request from a DTE device and disconnect it when receiving a PPP
termination. This mode also support auto disconnect like dial on demand.
Manual:
If you choose the Manual mode, the MB7900 will not make the internet
connection when you power up the MB7900.You must manually make the
Cellular connection using the client software which can be found in the CD or
through web configuration page.

Bridged with LAN:
When this type is selected, the MB7900 acts as a modem
between the cellular network and client device (PC or handheld or others) which
is attached to the MB7900 by wired-Ethernet. By this mode, the MB7900 only
supports one client device. The MB7900 will initiate the WAN#0 or WAN#1 after
startup and be ready for the client device to dial up to the cellular network using
PPPoE.
