10 Operation
WARNING
Risk of unsafe operation.
– Firmly hold the air hose in hand when installing or disconnecting to prevent hose whip.
– Check the air tank for signs of rust and damage before each use.
– Do not use the compressor with a damaged or rusty air tank. If you discover any damage, consult a specialist
workshop or contact customer service.
WARNING
Risk of over-pressure
– When inflating items rated for 0.7 bar (approx. 10 psi) or less, inflate in short bursts and check after
each burst by feel or determine accurate pressure using a calibrated measuring device.
– Too much air pressure causes a hazardous risk of bursting inflated object.
– Observe the manufacturer’s maximum pressure rating for air tools and accessories.
– Make sure the regulator is set to a pressure lower than the maximum operating pressure of the connected
tool.
Important:
Duty cycle:
– To prolong the life of the product do not operate continuously.
– A duty cycle of 10 minutes ON/10 minutes OFF is recommended.
1. Make sure the power is switched OFF.
2. Turn the regulator dial counterclockwise to set the outlet pressure to zero.
3. Visually inspect air hose and accessories before attaching. Replace if needed.
4. Insert a rechargeable battery pack.
5. Switch the power ON.
6. Adjust the pressure regulator until the TOOL (tool) pressure gauge shows the desired setting.
7. When finished, turn the regulator dial counterclockwise to set the outlet pressure to zero.
8. Remove any attached accessories.
9. Drain condensation from the air tank after each use. See “14 Maintenance (Drain air tank/release tank pressure)”
on page 31.
