k) Additive measurement
• Use the left or right arrow buttons (5 or 8) to select the symbol for the additive
measurement function.
• Press the
ON / DIST / OK
button (6) to confirm. The
symbol will appear
in the lower-left corner of the LCD display (10) after switching. The additive
measurement function is now enabled.
•
Measure the first line.
• Measure the second line.
• The measured values will be added together and the sum will be displayed in
the bottom row (main value display (E)).
• The additive measurement can be repeated as often as desired.
• Press the
C/OFF
button (7) to delete the values.
l) Subtractive measurement
• Use the left or right arrow buttons (5 or 8) to select the symbol for the subtractive
measurement function. The symbol will appear in the lower-left corner of the
LCD display (10) after switching.

Measure the first line.
• Measure the second line.
• The measured values will be subtracted and the difference will be displayed in
the bottom row (main value display (E)).
• Press the
C/OFF
button (7) to delete the values. The subtractive measurement
can be repeated as often as desired.
m) Surface area measurements
• Use the left or right arrow buttons (5 or 8) to select the symbol for the surface
area measurement function. Press the
ON / DIST / OK
button (6) to confirm.
The symbol will appear in the lower-left corner of the LCD display (10) after
switching.
• Measure the two side lengths of a surface at right angles to each other.
• The device will automatically multiply the measured values and display the
result in the main value display (E).
