“Standby Delay”
Here you can configure the duration after which the temperature of the soldering tip will drop to the reduced tempera
-
ture. To disable this function, select “OFF” in the menu.
The soldering station will play a short beep sound when standby mode is enabled for one of the two chan-
nels. “STANDBY” will appear on the display next to the channel that is in standby mode.
If the soldering iron or soldering tweezers are removed from the storage holder, this will be detected by a built-in
magnetic sensor and the soldering iron/soldering tweezers will automatically start to heat to the preset temperature.
Alternatively, you can press one of the three quick selection buttons to end standby mode for both channels.
“Shutdown Delay”
Here you can configure the duration after which the heating function is disabled (1–120 minutes). To disable this
function, select “OFF” in the menu.
If the heating function is switched off for the channel, “SLEEP” will appear on the display. Instead of the
current temperature, (see section 9b), dashes (“- - -”) will appear in position “B” and “K”.
To re-enable the heating function, briefly press one of the buttons on the soldering station.
“Shortcut Temp 1”
Set the desired temperature for the quick selection button “1”.
“Shortcut Temp 2”
Set the desired temperature for the quick selection button “2”.
“Shortcut Temp 3”
Set the desired temperature for the quick selection button “3”.
“Fix Temp”
Use this option to set a specific temperature that cannot subsequently be changed. Together with password protec
-
tion, this function prevents unauthorized changes to the preset temperature.
To disable this function, select “OFF” in the menu.
“Temp UL”
To prevent components from overheating, you can use this option to set an upper limit for the temperature. If you set
an upper temperature limit, you will not be able to select a higher temperature during subsequent use.
If you have programmed a higher temperature on one of the quick selection buttons (e.g. upper tempera-
ture limit = 300 °C, quick selection button 3 = 400 °C), the soldering station will automatically use the upper
temperature limit and not the setting for the quick selection button.
“Temp LL”
This option can be used to configure a minimum temperature to ensure that components can be desoldered correctly.
If you set a lower temperature limit, you will not be able to select a lower temperature during subsequent use.
If you have programmed a lower temperature on one of the quick selection buttons (e.g. lower temperature
limit = 200 °C, quick selection button 3 = 150 °C), the soldering station will automatically use the lower
temperature limit and not the setting for the quick selection button.
