4. Remo ve the middle electrical regaining plate.
5. Remove the connecting wire from gear switch.
6. Press the snap locks on the u pper and lo wer ends of the
switch, push switch out of the housing.
7. Check :
Continu ity of the gear switch.
Refer to “Check Procedure 10—
fo rward/reverse gear
switch” of Chapter 10, replace the part in case of co
unter
co nditio ns.

NOTE:
The red, black/yellow and blue/white wires must be connected
co rrectly at relevant positio ns on the gear switch.

1. Take out the key from the ke y switch.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Turn Tow/Run switch to TOW.

5. Remo ve the red, red/green and black wires from the battery
discharge meter.
6. Remo ve the nu t fro m the tail o f the battery discharge meter,
remo ve the U retaining piece, push the battery discharge
meter ou twards.
