Once you are in possession of your Tomatis® Infinite headphones, it is time to embark on your personal listening journey with
a Tomatis® Professional. He/She will provide you with a TalksUp® device that you will connect to your Infinite headphones.
The TalksUp® device will contain your own individualized program specially made for you.
Each Professional will use the testing approach appropriate to his/her background. The two main Tomatis® assessments used
are the Tomatis® Listening Test and the pyscho pedagogical questionnaire (TED).
The listening test unravels the way in which you listen
and communicate with other people. It is extremely
simple to do the test. All you have to do is respond
manually or orally through acoustic stimuli perceived
through headphones dedicated to the listening
assessment. Each ear is tested in turn. Together, these
results create your listening profile that follows a
specific interpretation given by the Professional.
It consists of a series of psycho pedagogical questions
which caregivers must answer in relation to the child.
The questionnaire will take approximately 20 minutes
to complete and allows your Professional to target
difficulties, and evaluate progress achieved after your
individualized Tomatis® training.
