The Tomatis® Method is a natural, non-invasive sensory stimulation approach that relies on many acoustic parameters. In the
Tomatis® Infinite headphones, the program settings are universal. Using TalksUp®, the Tomatis® Professional can adjust these
settings to offer you a totally individualized program. This allows you to deeply experience the full potential of the Tomatis®
Method.
The musical component of the Tomatis® Method promotes the transmission of high-pitched sounds that are particularly effective
in stimulating the brain. This intense stimulation can result in temporary fatigue, or conversely—a boost of energy.
During your listening experience one can be surprised and sometimes a bit overwhelmed by this new sensory info that our brain
must now learn to process. This listening experience can sometimes result in excessively increasing our sensitivity to our own
world. It is a normal process of reorganization.
The music chosen for the listening
sessions is mostly classical music.
This music is dynamic and rich with
high-pitched sounds, thus perfectly
suited to the stimulation of the brain.
The music changes suddenly in its
tone, timbre and intensity during the
listening sessions. The brain responds
by developing an ability to detect these
changes which is very important for
improving attention.
The Infinite headphones are specifically
designed to transmit sounds to the
ears (air conduction) and to the skull
(bone conduction). In the headphones,
the bone conduction is very subtle and
almost unnoticeable, but very powerful.
